How Price Bridge works

Car parts can cost very different amounts in the UK, Poland, the rest of Europe and China. But a cheap price abroad is only cheap once delivery, import duty and VAT are added. Price Bridge does that sum for you.

1. Find the exact part

Search with the part number printed on your old part, a number from your garage or dealer, or the barcode (EAN). Matching on numbers finds exactly the same part in every shop, instead of “something similar”.

2. Prices straight from the shops

Shops share their product lists and prices with us through official affiliate programmes and product feeds, and we refresh them regularly. We do not copy prices from shops without their agreement.

3. The delivered price

For each offer we add the shop’s delivery charge, import duty and VAT for the country you choose, using the official rules: for the UK, HMRC guidance and the UK Trade Tariff; for Poland, EU customs rules and Polish VAT. Other currencies are converted at the European Central Bank’s reference rates. Offers are listed with the cheapest delivered price first.

These are estimates for consumers buying single items. Couriers can add handling fees, and duty depends on where a part was made. This is not tax advice.

4. How sure is the match?

Every offer shows ticks for what has been checked: the barcode, the part number, the brand, the shop, and how recent the price is. Exact matches (barcode and part number) are listed first.

5. Always confirm it fits

We cannot be 100% sure a part fits your car. Before buying, confirm fitment on the shop’s page, for example with its number-plate or VIN check, or ask the shop. You buy directly from the shop, under its terms, returns policy and your consumer rights.

How we earn money

Some links are affiliate links: if you buy, the shop may pay us a small commission at no extra cost to you. It does not change the order of results, which is by delivered price. More about this.
