What we collect, and why
- Your searches: the part search runs inside your own browser. To keep the page fast, your browser downloads only the parts of our price list that your search needs; those file names show at most the first few letters or digits of what you typed. We do not keep a record of searches.
- The import calculator: runs entirely in your browser. The amounts you enter are not sent to us.
- Your choice of delivery country and currency: remembered in your browser’s local storage so the page opens with the same choices next time. It stays on your device; you can clear it at any time in your browser.
- Emails you send us: if you email us, we use your email address and message to reply, and keep them for up to 2 years unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering your enquiry.
- Technical logs: our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver and protect the website. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, we do not create accounts, and we do not sell personal data.
Links to shops and affiliate networks
When you click through to a shop, you leave our site. The shop, and any affiliate network that tracks the referral (such as Awin or Webgains), may set cookies and process your data under their own privacy policies. Please read those on their websites. See also how we earn money.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to data portability. To use these rights, email [email protected]. We will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO): ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, telephone 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Changes
If we change how we use personal data (for example by adding accounts, price alerts or analytics), we will update this policy and the date above before the change takes effect.
